The sources of supply used by BAWSCA member agencies are very consistent, typically varying by less than 2% from one year to the next. Of the total amount of water used by BAWSCA agencies in FY 2020-21, 67.4% came from the SF RWS and 32.6% came from other sources. Total water use among BAWSCA member agencies in FY 2020-21 was 205.39 mgd.
Among the BAWSCA member agencies, sources of supply vary considerably. Some BAWSCA member agencies rely entirely on San Francisco Regional Water System supplies while other BAWSCA members have water supply portfolios that include other local and imported supplies. Individual member agency water use data is compiled each year in the BAWSCA Annual Survey.
